Schreder Z

Schreder Z series is by far my most liked street lightning lanterns since when I was 5.
Before we start about this, before LED street lightning even changed how our street lightning.

Before we talked about Schreder Z, we must talk about Schreder. Schreder was a company in Belgium since 1900s. Then it started making real-branded street lights luminaries (or lanterns) in the 60s or 70s, because at that time, Schreder and many other companies didn't make street light as a product but just specifically for highways.
There were 2 reasons why Schreder Z series hit over 2 million units sold. The first being how Schreder Z series are so highly customizable. Schreder Z series offer a high customizability to the lantern, including size changing to fit the pole and a wide range of lamp, including HPS, LPS, Mercury Vapour, Metal Halide and more.
The second being how tough the street light was. Schreder Z series offer a industry-first tightness standards against dust and water ingress, to prevent grime and dust to build up in the bowl. Schreder Z series were also made with die-cast aluminium case/body to withstand the harsh environment.
One thing that makes me like the Schreder Z series more than any other lanterns like Thorn Alpha series was due to its design. Schreder Z design looks cool, as the black box (controller box) on the left and the rest body being grey just makes it stand out over other lanterns like Thorn Alpha 8 or SGS 203
While they were massively exchanged with LED lamps that just makes me hard to see, some parts of the highway like exits were not changed, and I hope they are preserved there as long as it could be.
